READ CAREFULLY: The Impakt Festival 2010 will be organized from 13 to 17 October.
Work produced in 2009 & 2010 can be submitted till July 1st, 2010.
For submitting work that you expect not be finished by July 1st please contact us at panorama [at] impakt.nl
The official deadline was july 1st, but works can still be submitted. We will do our very best to watch the works that are submitted after the deadline and we usually do manage to watch them. However, we can't give you a 100% guarantee.

PLEASE FILL OUT A SEPARATE ENTRY FORM FOR EACH WORK.

It is NOT possible to submit: documentaries and narrative works; CD Rom and websites;
proposals for installations, performances and concerts, or registrations of installations. This submission is only open for film and video works.

PREVIEW
Mini DV or DVD-Video is required for preview. (VHS is possible if no other format is available. We cannot preview Super VHS or data DVD). We prefer the PAL system. DVD of course should have no region coding.

Unfortunately, due to the large amount of works submitted and high costs involved it's no longer possible for us to return submissions for the film/video program. In case of rejection preview tapes and DVD's will be stored for a period of eight weeks, and will then be destructed.


SCREENING

Please indicate which format(s) you have available for screening in case the submitted work is selected for the Impakt Festival. Although we will contact you for detailed information on the screening version of your work if it is selected it is necessary to be as precise as possible on the screening format already
We cannot accept 16mm double system (separate magnetic sound), Hi-8, Secam, Super VHS and data DVD. Please indicate if you have your work available in HD quality.

We prefer File (SD/HD), but it must meet these requirements:
Codec: MPEG 2 / 4, DV, DVPRO, DVCPROHD, H.264, VC-1
Format: .avi, .mpg, .mp4, .m2ts, .mov
Tapes will be converted to make digital playback possible and can cause degradation.

PUBLICITY
Because the selection procedure ends close to the publicity deadlines we kindly ask you to already include printquality images of your work: 300dpi at 10x15cm, and higher resolution if possible. Impakt is entitled to use all images for publicity purposes, including general festival publicity (flyers, posters, leaders).

Also be sure to enter the creditline and the synopsis. Would you also agree to the inclusion of your work in broadcasts, cablecasts, etc. ?
