(2006) Art & Science
In the Art and Science program, Impakt Online investigates the gray
areas between the two superpowers art and science. When and where do
art and science cross paths? Can art have a scientific background? Or,
is it possible to mix scientific material with art?
Over the centuries, there has evolved a long tradition of artists who
also practiced science, and there are numerous examples of scientists
who produced wonderful art using scientific methods. Impakt Online does
not wish to demonstrate that art and science are associated, but wishes
to provide a platform for this type of interrelationships and place
them in the context of the current arts and science climate.
