My work for the Impakt Works residency program is going well and I expect to finish the three videos before August 1.
"Beaver Skull Magick" is coming along fine: mainly animation work needs be done, along with recording voice-over for the first section.
"Cartoon for those who have a certain fondness for ideas, but are tired of thinking" has a complete script and soundtrack and is about one third animated.
A third work - as yet untitled - is based on two poems by Gerrit Achterberg. The text is finished, but more shooting needs to be done, and I need to record the voice over, and get two tattoos. The two tattoos will be simple line drawings.
So, I need a way to record voice-overs and I'm looking for a good tattoo parlour.
My other activity here is going fine too: I'm curating a presentation for the next Sharjah Biennial so I'm looking at works in the Impakt library/archive.
I found out when garbage day is, but I think I used the only grey bag.
I will pick up another at Impakt.
