Accelerated Video – Web Contest 2009

This year the 20th edition of the Impakt Festival’s theme is Accelerated Living, which explores changing notions of time in our contemporary era. The festival will showcase a selection of international audiovisual art that explores this issue from a variety of perspectives. As part of this program, we also want to invite the Internet community of students, emerging artists and general audience to participate in the web video contest.

The videos should be maximum one minute long, non-narrative answers to the question of how our perception of time is being reshaped by Internet Communities and Networking Sites.

Please post your videos on Vimeo, and send us a copy of the link as a private message to the Facebook user Impakt Twopointo.

Please send us your videos before the 1st of October 2009.

Award

The best video will be screened at the Impakt Website and the winner will be given 100€ and an all-access pass to all festival events, including film and video screenings, music concerts and conferences.
