Goosespeak - Natalie JeremijnkoOn a previous Impakt Event, the Bureau of Inverse Technology has already given an exciting foretaste of the OOZ project. OOZ is a zoo that has been inverted and stripped of its cage. OOZ has been developed to analyse and chart the interactions between human beings and non-human beings. This is realised using a robot goose that gives people the chance to mingle with real geese and communicate with them. The robot goose is equipped with a video camera for recording the interactions. In Goosespeak, one of the sections of the OOZ project, these recordings are uploaded to a web site where users of the goose can describe and interpret their interactions. The result is a rich database of behaviouristic and communicative information. To visit this project, please follow this link Goosespeak This is part of the larger Ooz project Ooz The Goosespeak project is currently inactive. |
