Cometen Werck - Theun KarelseCometen Werck by Theun Karelse is a drawn world where six main characters are connected within a world which starts at approx. 15.000 years B.C. and ends in the near future. The characters are: Joseph Merrick, Emmy Noether, the Venus of Lespugue, Otto von Schirach, Joseph Cupertino and the bronze talking head made by Rober Bacon. Each character has its own story line that is interwoven with all the other story lines. Via a basic link system the user is able to navigate through all these storylines as well they might choose one of the following categories: art and science, future and past, micro and macro. the constellation of the world created by Karelse is based upon the M-theory. This consists of a cluster of six scientific theories in physics that complement each other.The work of Karelse is full of a refined form of humour. This makes it possible to comprehend and understand the, sometimes, difficult subjects he addresses.
